Baking

Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
In this workshop students will work in one of two 5 week groups learning the basics of baking. They will create delicious confections and baked goods. Cooks will also learn recipes, be able to form a general understanding of cooking, baking, and nutrition. Students must sign up for one of the two five week sessions.
Woodworking
Teacher: Mr. Dyer
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Come join the ChenEx Woodworkers Club and build your very own Medieval Trebuchet. A trebuchet is a medieval device made of wood with counter weights and swinging arms that can propel objects far into the air (similar to a catapult). You'll learn how a trebuchet works; come up with a design for your own trebuchet, and we'll test them out in a medieval competition.
