Movie Making
Teacher: Brandon Heisler
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Interested in movies? Join the first ever Movie making class. You will create, write, film, act in, and produce your own short film. You will also learn how to use a camera, write a screenplay, create a storyboard, act on camera, and edit a film using iMovie. We will have a screening for parents and students at the end of the workshop.

Improvisation
Teacher: Nicole Heisler
Time: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Do you like to laugh?  Can you think on your feet? Are you a fast talker and a team player? Join Improvisation and spend your Wednesday afternoon laughing out loud with Nicole Heisler and the returning Improvisation students. This is the 3rd year that we have offered Improv and the class keeps growing. Students will act, and reacting in the moment to different prompts, environmental situations, and stimuli. We play fun games, create improvised skits and even create our own improvisation games. You will learn how to think on your feet, act, actively listen, and respond in the moment while having a BLAST!

Yoga
Teacher: Checka Antofonario
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Sore? Tired? Back aches from a heavy back pack? Checka will be returning this winter for another semester of Yoga! Yoga originates from ancient practices in India, and has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. Yoga benefits your strength, flexibility, lung capacity, all while having a positive effect on learning and memory. The good news is that anyone, regardless of age can take up yoga - young or old, it's never too early to start! Ms. Antofonario is a certified yoga instructor who teaches youth yoga at Yoga Mandala in Newton. Mats will be provided.
